The Whisky Barrel Wins The Queen’s Award For Enterprise

Digital Six is lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s most established brands and retailers, and we are delighted to announce that one of our longest standing clients, The Whisky Barrel, have been honoured with The Queens Award for Enterprise 2019: International Trade 2019.

The Whisky Barrel is a family run business based in Fife, with whom we have had the pleasure of working with for several years now. Their knowledge, dedication, hard work and their evolving online offering have helped them achieve such high levels of success both nationally and internationally. Celebrating business excellence throughout the UK, The Queens Awards for Enterprise are at the very pinnacle of prestige for UK businesses.  We are beyond thrilled for everyone at The Whisky Barrel and feel privileged to be able to work with them.

The Whisky Barrel was established in 2007 and since then has gone from strength to strength to become a World-renowned online retailer of premium Scotch whisky. They collaborate with independent whisky merchants, and microdistillers, to make Scotch Whisky and Single Cask Rum available to international customers, primarily in North America and Asia-Pacific. The Whisky Barrel continues to grow rapidly, and are continually developing their own range of original and exclusive cask bottlings.
