Kiltane has been an Edinburgh institution for a number years now with a high level of prominence on the high street in Edinburgh, and throughout the UK.
 
As retailers of luxury clothing, knitwear and accessories, Kiltane’s website needed to match this standard to ensure products are showcased in the light they deserve.

Their previous site was built on Magento 1 and was past it’s best when it came to design, user experience and mobile functionality. Kiltane also needed a system to streamline internal processes and ensure efficiencies with order processing and fulfilment.

The solution was simple. Create a beautifully designed website on a robust yet flexible platform. We achieved this using Magento 2 and fully integrated their ePOS system supplied by Fashion Master. The user experience was significantly improved from the first click right through to the order confirmation, the seamless nature of the Magento 2 checkout and improved navigation throughout allowed us to achieve this.

The design was at the top of our list of improvements, to make sure Kiltane’s beautiful products were presented in the best possible way, with the best possible user experience. Being a large retail outfit, being able to integrate existing software that was also used in the Kiltane stores was essential. Magento 2 was the ideal candidate due to the integration capabilities of this flexible ecommerce development.
