Paid Media Manager


We're one of Scotland’s leading ecommerce agencies and are seeking an experienced and Paid Media Manager to join our team. This is a varied role within an exciting, established company that is continuing to grow within the ecommerce market.
Digital Six is an established ecommerce agency formed in 1999. We’ve won multiple industry awards for our projects and innovations and are lucky enough to work with a variety of clients from sole traders to international brands. We’re known in the industry for creating exciting and technically sophisticated solutions for our ecommerce clients.
We are looking for a Paid Media Manager, with experience of managing the marketing activities of ecommerce focused businesses. The role will involve defining, setting up and reporting on all paid marketing activities for our clients in a range of retail sectors. A successful Paid Media Manager will effectively manage our marketing clients’ paid advertising budgets and work with the Marketing, and wider Digital Six, teams in order to maximise results, increase ROAS, drive traffic, and increase customers.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Working directly with clients, managing strategic decisions, expectations and budgets
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and optimising campaigns to agreed revenue and ROAS targets for all of Digital Six’s Marketing clients
  • Management of all types of paid media campaigns, from shopping through to video remarketing, for our clients on a variety of platforms including but not limited to; Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest
  • Executing tests, collecting and analysing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROAS in paid advertising campaigns
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting on campaigns’ performance
  • Managing campaign budgets, estimating monthly costs, forecasting results and reconciling discrepancies
  • Creating and optimising advert content for all types of paid advertising campaigns
  • Performing ongoing campaign discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Executing paid social media campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc
  • Reporting, tracking KPI's and relaying performance to both management and clients
  • Competitor research and analysis
  • Working with the wider Digital Six team to assist with other projects as required
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Ecommerce experience essential
  • Google Ads Certified
  • Proven experience, and success, managing PPC campaigns (Including Shopping/PLAs) across Google, Microsoft and other platforms
  • Proven experience, and success, managing paid social campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter
  • Experience of data feed management and optimisation
  • Working knowledge, and experience of, Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Experience of enterprise level campaigns not essential but beneficial
  • Experience of Magento, Shopify, ShopifyPlus and BigCommerce not essential but beneficial
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in ecommerce marketing
  • Experience in producing digital marketing reports, tracking KPI's and feeding back to the team / the client
  • In-depth knowledge of, and experience with, website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)
  • Demonstrable results from campaigns you have influenced
  • The ability to work as part of a team, good communication skills and the critical ability to know when to ask for help and guidance
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and self-motivate
  • At least 2 years Ecommerce Experience (In-house / Agency Side)
